Dr. Lonny Lannert
Dr. Lonny Lannert (“Doc”) was born and raised in the Limestone/Bartonville area. After seeing the difference chiropractic care made for his family, he knew that chiropractic was how God wanted him to serve. Doc graduated from Limestone Community High School, where he also met his future wife, Angie Millard. They were married in 1995, while he attended Palmer College of Chiropractic (Davenport, IA). After graduating from Palmer in October of 1996, Doc, Angie, and their oldest daughter Heather moved back to the Bartonville area. They opened their practice in January of 1997. Their second daughter, Meta, was born in 2001. Dr. Lannert enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and living out the call to be a chiropractor that God placed on him when he was five years old.
“Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.” (Ephesians 4:15-16)
Angie was born in Peoria and has lived in this area most of her life. She graduated from Limestone Community High School, Illinois Central College, and Illinois State University (Deaf Education). She and Doc were married in 1995 and have two daughters, Heather and Meta. Her first experience with chiropractic care was just after marrying Doc. As a patient in the student clinic, it was interesting that some places she had subluxations correlated to other health issues she was having. Her first adjustment made her realize how uncomfortable she had been but just “learned to live with it”. Sometimes we don’t realize something is off until it’s put right. Both daughters have been adjusted since birth, and since they are older, they understand the benefits of chiropractic care for feeling well. Angie’s first experience with massage therapy was just a few years ago. After a shoulder inury, Amanda treated her with therapeutic massage. She got so much relief and range of motion improvement after one massage that her orthopedic doctor suggested she decrease the physical therapy and continue only with massages. Outside of the office, Angie enjoys Bible study, spending time with family, crafts (sewing, a little knitting), and homeschooling Meta (who will graduate in 2020). One of her favorite Bible verses is:
“The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.” (Zephaniah 3:17)
After working over 22 years at a medical office, Lisa sought the opportunity to work for a chiropractic office that strived to facilitate healing in a caring, friendly and compassionate manner. Finding Lannert Chiropractic has been a blessing many levels. Being able to see patients find health and wellness through chiropractic care has been exciting for her to experience. Witnessing patients take that first step towards optimal health has been rewarding and inspirational. Lisa has been married to her best friend, Robert, for 26 years. They enjoy vacations to the beach where they can witness some of the best of God’s creativity through sunrises and sunsets over the ocean; each one being different and significant to experience.
“Those who live at the ends of the earth stand in awe of your wonders. From where the sun rises to where it sets, you inspire shouts of joy.” (Psalm 65:8)
Amanda has been part of our team for over four years. She developed a passion for massage early in life. However, it wasn’t until entering the ICC Massage Program in 2011 that she realized there was more than just relaxation. She saw firsthand how massage can relieve pain, along with many other benefits. While Amanda was in school she experienced low back pain that massage alone wasn’t relieving and her instructor suggested chiropractic care. After her first treatment, she had immediate relief and has had regular chiropractic adjustments ever since. The combination of chiropractic adjustments and massage therapy made a huge difference for her – this shaped her decision for wanting to have her career in a chiropractic office. Amanda keeps her license current by continuing her education with new techniques and modalities. Amanda spends her free time with her fiancé Jake and her fur baby Khali.
